Open minded people willing to take risks and try new things. Hot chocolate on a cool day. Peanut m&m's, being active and relaxing. Swiss cheese.
Dislikes:
People that say something without knowing what they are saying. They try too hard to be a part of a conversation.
Music:
Everything, it just depends on my mood but I hear new music all the time and love it. If you have any tracks send 'em and let me hear.
Movies:
I really enjoyed Runaway Jury. I really enjoy movies that mirror real life like American History X or Dazed and Confused. Movies are about life so pick the good times and enjoy.
Supports:
I support Hawaii's non-profit community projects. They help with supporting single parents and other projects.
In His Words:
I was born in Salem, Oregon on March 2, 1979. I have one brother and on older half sister. I traveled next to Colorado to the western slope of the rocky mountains where I spent my preschool and kindergarten school days. My best friend was Kelly and when I was so scared to go to kindergarten at a new school, I stopped crying as soon as I saw her there too. 2nd and 3rd grade was spent in Denver. In 3rd grade I was on my schools relay team since I was one of the fastest runners in my class. 4th grade and 5th was spent in Casper, Wyoming where for the first time I saw deer hanging out in neighborhoods and the first time I was picked up by the cops for staying out past curfew, okay I didn't really stay out, I snuck out and got caught! Grounded for a month, drats! 6th and 7th grade was pretty fun in Illinois. I lived there during the Chicago bulls 3-peat championship days. My last move was back to Colorado on the western slope to finish 8-12 grades. I somehow graduated on time despite getting kicked out of class and suspended a few to many times. What did I learn from that? Teachers don't like sarcasm! That ends the first chapter of my life.
At 18 years old I enlisted in the ARMY as a Infantry Medic because I thought it would be cool to live in Hawaii and to bring my best friend Morgan along who joined with me. I gave a lot of I.V.'s and patched blistered feet. The only major thing I did was transport the wounded soldiers after the largest training accident on Oahu when two helicopters crashed into each other. The military taught me a lot about myself and also I met many different kinds of people. So that lasted for 4 years then I traveled. I visited Colorado of course, then off to Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming and I ended it with a train ride through Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington. I visited friends all over the western United States before coming back to Hawaii. Once back in Hawaii, I bought a VW van to call home for the next 11 months and I did nothing but body surf and work. This was probably the most simplest times in my life. Next came time for school and an end to this chapter of my life.
School again. Did I have less sarcasm? Nope. This time I had a lot more to say and to try and make a difference where it matters. I attended Kapiolani Community College for 3 years taking every class I could there until I moved up to the University of Hawaii. At KCC I actually made it in to the Honor Society for community colleges called Phi Theta Kappa. All those nights of partying and doing usual man things really paid off. Okay so maybe not but hey at least I don't drink so I'm just tired the next day not sick lol. Now at UH I am in the college of Business and doing pretty good. The material actually interests me a lot and I can use it in my daily life. I started Chapter291.com since I have a strange urge to ride my motorcycle at rather high speeds and for some dumb reason I try to ride on one wheel sometimes. I dunno why I have such a need for adrenaline but we all have a vice right? Between LOST, Chapter 291, Modeling, Volunteering, working "real jobs" once in awhile, and school full time I somehow keep my life in order. I appreciate the smallest things in life and I know how truly lucky I am.
Whats next in life? I have no idea. When I'm done in college I may continue to pursue acting and modeling, I may continue to help Chapter 291 grow, or I may just pack up my stuff and move somewhere around the world to teach English to people that really want to learn it. Whatever it is I hope that I can do my part to make the world a better place for others that may be less fortunate than myself. I would also like to do my part in helping people realize how much they already have in their own lives. Not to sound sappy but life is really fun, not saying its backbreaking hard, but it is what you make of it so make everyday fun. Hopefully no matter what I do in life I just want to learn along the way and pass that knowledge on to others. In about another year and a half when I finish college and flip the page to the next chapter of my life I cant wait to see what is in store for me.
